2. Product Description & System Scope
BartaAI is a Windows desktop voice-to-text software application designed to convert spoken words into written text with multilingual speech-to-text recognition, global keyboard triggers (Caps Lock and F8), local dictation history management, JSON/CSV export, and personal productivity statistics.
BartaAI requires a Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit) operating system, a functional microphone, and an active internet connection to communicate securely with third-party speech recognition services that convert audio into text. No third-party developer API keys are required from the user.
3. Lifetime Plans & Payment
BartaAI is sold under a one-time payment model for BartaAI Lifetime Access:
- One-Time Purchase: You pay once rather than paying a recurring monthly or annual subscription charge.
- No Recurring Subscription Bills: Purchasing BartaAI Lifetime Access does not enroll you in any automatic monthly billing cycle.
- No External API Key Fees Required by BartaAI: BartaAI works without requiring you to configure or pay for a separate third-party speech API key.
4. Software License, Device Limits & Usage Restrictions
Upon purchase of a BartaAI lifetime license, BartaAI grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to install, activate, and use the software in accordance with your chosen plan:
- Personal License: Authorizes simultaneous activation on up to 1 Active Device for personal, professional, or workstation use.
- Pro License: Authorizes simultaneous activation on up to 20 Active Devices across your personal, workplace, or business computers.
- Device Slot Management & Reassignment: You may reassign or transfer your license to another computer at any time by deactivating an active device slot within the application's Settings → License view or remotely through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal at https://app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders.
- Restrictions: You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, or publicly share your license key or any proprietary components of the software.
5. Refund Policy, Updates & Fair Use

- Fair & Reasonable Use: BartaAI is designed for genuine interactive human dictation and workplace productivity. The service may not be used for automated mass audio scraping, systematic server overload, or abusive robotic streaming that disrupts service availability for other users.
6. Intellectual Property & Your Dictated Content
BartaAI Property: All rights, title, and interest in and to the BartaAI desktop application, branding, user interface, visual assets, documentation, and website belong exclusively to BartaAI.
Your Dictated Content: You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all spoken words, transcripts, notes, documents, and exported JSON/CSV files created using BartaAI. BartaAI does not claim any ownership rights over your dictation output, nor does BartaAI store or monitor your private transcripts.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
BartaAI is a productivity tool designed to assist with converting speech into text. Speech-to-text transcription may contain recognition errors depending on audio quality, background noise, or pronunciation; you are responsible for reviewing dictated text before sending or publishing it. BartaAI is not marketed or warranted as a medical device or certified accessibility aid.
